Tata Ultra 1412 is powered by Tata’s 497 DICR BS4 compliant 4-litre turbocharged Diesel engine which produces 121.6 BHP of peak power output at 2400 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1300 and 1600 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox which features 330 mm diameter single plate dry friction clutch.
The truck comes with a deck body option and HSC with cabin type setup. The chassis along with the tiltable day cabin computes to 13850 kgs of gross vehicle weight. Inside the cabin comfort features like power steering, adjustable driver seat and tiltable steering wheel are offered as standard.
