TATA ULTRA 1014

The Tata ULTRA 1014 is one of the best commercial vehicles ever produced by Tata. Powered by a four-cylinder in-line water-cooled direct injection BS-IV diesel engine with intercooler, the truck churns out a maximum power of 138 BHP at 3000 RPM and a peak torque of 360Nm at 1200 to 2000 RPM. The transmission duties on this machine are quite effectively handled by a six-speed manual gearbox coupled to a 330 mm single-plate dry friction type booster assisted clutch. The presence of a 160-liter fuel tank is yet another facility of this machine since one can easily cruise both on the highways and city traffic without landing up at the fuel stations at regular intervals.
