The Tata Signa 3718 BS4 truck is based on the company\u2019s LPT 3718 BS4 chassis and the only distinguishing factor between the two offerings is the all-new cabin design offered in the Signa. The truck will rival the likes of Bharat-Benz 3723R BS4, Eicher pro 6037 BS4, Ashok Leyland Captain 3718 BS4, Mahindra Blazo 37 BS4, and also Eicher’s Pro 6037 Cowl BS4.<\/p>\n

Tata Signa 3718 is available in either a pusher axle variant or tag axle variant. Prices for Tata Signa 3718 start at Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Powering the truck is the company\u2019s Cummins ISBe 5.91 8040 BS4 common rail 6-cylinder engine which produces 180 BHP of peak power output at 2500 rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 1200 and 1700 rpm. The truck comes with 20% gradeability and 37,000 kgs of gross vehicle weight. Tata Signa 3718 gets a 6255 mm wheelbase and air brakes with ABS. The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox which gets a single play dry push 380 mm diameter clutch.<\/p>\n
